Camera Clip

Necessity is the mother of invention. But sometime boredom helps too.
Some weeks ago I read on WIRED magazine an article on a website that was giving the opportunities to people to present their idea and maybe get sponsor to realize it. Unfoortunately at the moment I cannot find the url of the website, but I found this link here completely unrelated. I found the link of the original project C-Loop.
The idea choosen as starting point was the one of a bunch of photography enthusiast that invented a small clip to hook the camera from the tripods point.

In such a way the straps are not at the side of the camera and do not get in the way when a picture is taken. For an “amateur” a good solution.
And, moreover, it does avoid the “turist” look, with the camera on the belly.
As ordering the original clip was difficult (and expensive), I tried and did my own one.
The results are in the pictures.
The hook for the camera has been taken from an old cheap “polish” tripods, for suggestion of my brother (that also posed as model for the pictures) after I tried to get an original hook from different service shops.
My variation to the original project whas been to add a removable hook, so that the strips can be removed easily.
I am thinking now if I have to patent it…
